RoundTrips for Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client

A free afternoon, in walking order.

Ask your assistant what to do with a few hours in a city. RoundTrips answers with stops in the order you walk them, the minutes between each, and a total that fits the time you have.

Four questions it answers.

Every answer includes a one-sentence summary an assistant can repeat as-is, plus the structured stops behind it.

"We're here for a few hours. What do we do?"
free_time_plan
Two or three routes, each a short string of stops in walking order with the minutes between them. Takes the city, the hours, who's going, a vibe, and where you're standing.
"We have three days. What does each one look like?"
day_itinerary
Where Zoe has published a trip (Lisbon, Tokyo, the Amalfi Coast) you get her actual days and a link to fork them. Elsewhere, one walkable part of the city per day.
"What's worth walking to from right here?"
whats_near
Up to ten places within the walk you name, nearest first, with a directions link for each. Filter by food, coffee, bars, music, museums, parks, views and more.
"Where can you plan for?"
list_cities
Every covered city and how deep the coverage goes, so an assistant can say so up front instead of guessing.

The fine print.

Data

Curated places from RoundTrips trips, each with Zoe's own note. Everywhere else, notable places from OpenStreetMap with Wikipedia descriptions, always labelled as such. When a city is thin, the answer says so.

Walking and hours

Walking minutes come from OSRM foot routing over OpenStreetMap. Opening hours come from OpenStreetMap where they're tagged; anything else is marked "check hours".

Privacy

No accounts and no personal data. Each call logs the tool name, its arguments, response time and the client's user agent, to measure use and fix problems. See the privacy policy.

Limits and support

Free. 120 requests a minute per IP; over that you get a 429 with a retry_after. Questions or problems: [email protected].
